Imogen Buxton-Pickles BSc(Hons) Cert.ED

The founder and driving force behind imovesdance.com

Imogen has an extensive background in dance, fitness, nutrition and working with children. Imogen initially trained in dance and went on to teach dance and fitness in her early 20's. Since 2000 Imogen has focused on working with children and their teachers, driving forward new and innovative ways to motivate young people to be more active.

Imogen's passion is getting every child to be active, and her mission is to give every teacher the tools to enable it. Working with teachers, Imogen created imovesdance.com to help them motivate children to be more active through dance and movement to music. She firmly believes that although every teacher might not be a Fred Astaire or Ginger Rogers, with the right support they can still lead an outstanding lesson. After teacher feedback, she has now extended this idea to other areas of PE, bringing together the best available expertise in Gymnastics, Pilates, Athletics and Ball-skills.
